Concert (formerly NextGxDx) was founded in 2010 to bring transparency, efficiency, and value to the complex laboratory testing market. Since then, the company has grown to offer the definitive payment accuracy platform for precision health services, including laboratory testing, infectious disease, and other diagnostics.

Today, Concert combines proprietary data on the U.S. clinical laboratory testing market, market-leading clinical and coding expertise, and advanced technology to support test ordering, resulting, coding, coverage, claim editing, and payment integrity.

2024

Launched the the expanded Diagnostic Benefit Program.

2023

Reached the milestone of serving health plans representing 30 million members.

2021

Released the Concert GTU for use in the market.

Implemented preferred laboratory program for a health plan customer.

2021

Achieved patent for delivering machine-readable medical policy structured for automated clinical decision support and real-time payment accuracy.

2020

Announced first real-time pre-pay claim editing partnership.

2019

Launched the Genetics Benefit Program, an end-to-end laboratory testing management solution that delivers integrated medical policy, payment policy, and claim editing capabilities for reliable management of laboratory testing.

2019

Announced the Concert Coding Engine, which provides the coding standards for transparent, consistent coding of laboratory tests.

2017

Rebranded as Concert. Founded the Precision Health Information Network Summit.

2016

Added first health plan customer, delivering a patented method to decipher claims to support payment integrity, medical policy, and provider network teams.

Earned HITRUST CSF certification.

2013

Delivered the first interoperable laboratory test order management platform to hospital and laboratory customers.

2012

Curated the definitive registry of laboratory tests, which today contains more than 175,000 laboratory testing products, organized by a unique multi-level taxonomy and identified by the most comprehensive laboratory test identification system, the Concert GTU®.
